Not the easiest manifold to install !!
...but the gains can be impressive depending on the engine combo...and they're legal in California. Currenyly I'm installing mine that I've had in storage for a few years.

What makes it difficult to install? It looks like it would be fairly straight forward.

It's a pain because everything is in the way of everything else. To do the base you have to remove the distributor. I have an accel super coil there, and it is right up against the cowl, so it was absolutely impossible to get to the last bolt. Once you get everything off its like putting on a new intake manifold. But then when you go to put the runners and injectors on, they all have to go on at the same exact time. Somehow, I managed to get my cold start injector stuck between the driverside runner and the wiper motor. (Don't even ask me how the hell I pulled that off, bad luck and retardation I guess)

Its still being installed. I made all these mistakes putting it on, and I ran out of time with school, so my dad and I took it to a shop to finish it. (I had everything labeled, bagged, documented) That was in March, and they just now got the injectors on...so I don't feel so bad about how long it was taking me. I'll have pictures for you guys when its all back together...if that ever happens.

The plenum is definetely close but it doesn't touch...what does touch is the valve cover..I had to take it apart and carefully trim the plastic circuit board cover to clear it..it didn't take much but it had to be trimmed for sure

Installing it isn't that bad if you take the time to learn the tips and tricks before doing it.
