1990 Steering Column Play
Ok, Iv got the steering column torn apart, and I see the left side pivot point is not seated.
Iv hit it a few times with a hammer, but I don’t want to damage anything.
What do I do now? Is there a special tool I need to obtain? Do I just need to hit it harder with the hammer? I also noticed the inside of the pivot is threaded.
I guess this is for the tool. Thanx in advance.
:smash:
the pivot pin holes are worn out I dont think there is a busing kit available , you will problebly have to replace the joint. the threads are for the tool, too much clearence between the pin and hole...
