Before I dig in to far, I'll ask and save some grief. looked at all 4 sensors last night and no suprise, all look the same. The wires seem to run off to god knows where. Where is the connection for replacement and can a dealer check them once removed to find bad one?
You mean ABS sensor at each knuckle? The front ones each connect to a plug that is at the front center of the car, against the front crossmember. By the steering rack. PITA to reach. Must be done from the bottom with front raised.
Have you done any electrical checks thus far? Do you have the GM shop manual? If not, I'd hold off on removing the senders. You might not even need to. Insted of pulling them, you can do a simply and quick ohm test on each one from within the ABS harness connector inside the cargo area where the wiring to each one ends and begins. The GM shop manual shows you which pins to check and what the readings should be.
Forum member Agent 86 might have the ABS section of the book in PDF.
Thanks Pacer! I'll check these relays tonight, I stopped at the dealer and found out the wheel speed sensors are discontinued so I'm praying I have a bad relay....they are probably discontinued also!
