Default Easiest way to replace old TV cable??

I am in the process of replacing the TV cable on the 700R4 for the 91. The fitments on both ends of the cable will not fit through the gap between the drivers side runners, fuel rail and plenum. Is their any easy way to get the old one out and a replacement in without taking the runner and/or plenum off? Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Warren,
It has been so long since I changed one on a stock tpi that I forget exactly how I did it. I am pretty sure I did it without pulling the plenum though.

I did this not to long ago on my car. I cut the old cable, it can then be removed. The new cable I had to route slightly different for it to fit. It had plenty of extra length. Next time that I have the plenum off, I will put the cable in a nicer spot. It works fine where it is, but looks kind of bad. Don't forget a new seal for the cable end on the trans!!!!!!!!!!!!
