New best @ Cecil County
Rack was well prepared and I started the day off right with my best run:
1.711 60'
8.04 @ 85 1/8
12.69 @ 107.9 1/4, first time in the 12.60s or 70s
After that the temps rose into the high 70s and the car settled into the low 12.70s for the rest of the day. I had a bit of luck strike and won Class II, 12.77 on a 12.75!
Wheelsup won Class I with a dead on 11.25 against Lenny Hall, then went on to win the King of the Hill race between the class winners.
Sorry I didn't catch the names of the other class winners, maybe Chuck will post them.
Great hospitality shown by the Mason-Dixon Corvette Club and the Cecil County crew, looking forward to next year, Dave :D
Considering that the engine is still untouched inside, I'm amazed how it responds to a just few bolt-ons!
I wish I had the ability to change the chip settings like the 94 & up cars can with a Hypertedch type unit. The 92-93s need a custom chip burned and at this time I'm undecided what mods to do next, so maybe I'll play with the trans for shift points & lock-up eliminator next. I'm running out of track time fast, they'll be shutting down soon for the winter soon. Maybe we'll get a couple of real cool days in before that happens and see what can be done, Dave ;)
