Hey guys, I will be going over all the worn out suspension stuff in a week or so. I am installing new bilstein hd, wheel berings, u joints, ss brake lines, pads & rotors, sway bars, bassani exhaust, zr1 wheels w/275/40zr17 in fr, 315/35zr17 bfg g-force kd's, and a complete poly kit. my question is how do i get the upper a arms apart to install the new stuff ?, BTW the suspension is stock and the car is an 85" non z51 car. i would like some feed back on the combo, before the final purchases. thanks all!
I've been involved in a couple of C4 suspension rebuilds (using polybushings front and rear) and its a simple process; however, it can be a little time consuming.
On my car I used the Energy suspension polygraphite kit and the included instructions got me through it. If you have access to a decent press you can easily get it done in a day. However, make sure you get it to an alignment shop when your done.
