Default weatherstrip...

need new weatherstrip for door mains for a 94. Do the aftermarket on ebay fit properly? I've heard good and bad locally...hate to drop double for OEM if aftermarket fit ok.

As bad as the O.E.M. GM stuff is, most of the aftermarket stuff is even more problematic. I'd go with GM, personally.

I've replaced 4 of them and ordered from whoever had them on sale, every time they shipped me stock GM stuff.

Good luck,
Dave

GM... nothing else fits like it (and I've tried a lot of different brands in the shop)

I went to Wilcox Corvette and got two really nice strips for my doors and rear hatch. Good price, good product.

I have twice purchased from Corvette Rubber. The first time I received GM stuff. I'm still waiting for the second order to arrive. They take FOREVER to ship. I called a week ago and they said they were having problems with their computer and it would ship the next day (10 days ago). We'll see.

I received my weatherstripping the other day. I put on the driver's side this afternoon and it looks great. The fit was pretty much dead on. I had a little difficulty putting the door panel back in place, but it wasn't bad. I think the problem was the that the rubber is new and not sagging! I would purchase from them again, but I would call the order in rather than over the net.
