I just tightened one bolt on the front bracket then moved them around until I had a good even seal across the front of the car. I spent about 30 minutes getting it right.

When I did mine, I removed the all the trim from the windshield header which exposed the bolts that allow you to loosen the front hold-down points for the top. I then also loosened the rear hold down points on the car and any adjustmentable points on the top and placed the top into position. Now that everything was loose, I was able to preciesly position the top so that it was aligned, then carefully tightened all the bolts untill they were secure. The top now drops right into place and tightens nicely without any binding.
