I don't understand, why do you have such an amazing quarter mile time with out and gears/t.c./nos/heads/cam. I don't get it how did you run a 12.8 without juice? Is my car capeable of that with just the mods you have done? How much was it to port your intake? Get me into the 12's!!! Have you ever raced a stock C5? How did you run? Any other LS-1's? :crazy:

BlueC4LT1, That time was a shear fluke!! I have yet to duplicate that feat!! I have virtually no track experience, and accidentally did everything right. I used a set of borrowed 10 inch slicks and all factors must have been right for that moment. My time, as good as you think it is, is actually slow in comparison to some experienced guys on this forum with LT1's. I have heard of 12.5's rather consistantly!! Most guys here will tell you that with practice you too can see high 12's. If ever I duplicate that time, or better it, I will let you know. :) The intake was done as a favor owed, and therefore I couldn't tell you how much to expect to pay. As for racing stock C5's, I have fared ok in some encounters, and got my a** handed to me in others!! No matter what you have, someone will come along who is faster!! Learned that lesson early in my vette ownership!!
