Thermostat ?????????
I Have A 94 Vette, I Just Got The Water Pump Changed And Thermostat . Normal Operating Temp Now Seemes To Be Around 195 ,before It Was Around 180. The Mechanic Said He Put The Oem Thermostat In. Some Parts Stores Say 180 ,autozone Says 192 Is Oem . What Should I Do???

A 195 operating temp is nothing to be worried about. I'd leave it alone. When you see temps in excess of say 240, then worry.

No biggie... thats a nice cool temp. I run a 160 in mine, nothing to be worried over..

it calls for a 180,so if that whats in there your fine and the 195-220 should be expected.you may want to install a 160 which actually keeps me running at 180-185.

Thermostats alone don't cause lower normal operating temperatures. 180* is correct for your car. I would keep it there.
