Autzone/Kragen sell this size allen driver in a 3-pack with some other hex sizes. It's in their crappy chinese tool section. You'll need a 1/2" ratchet also.

It happened to be the biggest allen wrench sears had. It worked well.
It's like the giant deformed child in my allen wrench drawer now.

I found that 17mm allen wrench to be a POS when it started to strip the fill plug.
So I got the 17mm socket from Cornwell. Works great.

I started with a cheapo 17mm from a parts store. It was just a little bit too small, and started to round out the plug on my ZF. I immediately quit and waited until I could find a good quality part. I got mine from Snap On. It has a big, beefy hex in a socket, and works great.
I would suggest finding a good hex before you start this job.

The cheapy I got is a loose fit. Almost stripped it the first time I removed it because it was overtightened, but haven't had a problem since.
