Default EGR Solenoid parts missing?

I believe i'm missing some wires and/or vacuum lines from my EGR solenoid. I have the electrical connector on the front and the 2 vacuum lines on the top. One goes into the EGR and the other to the plenum. Am I missing anything?

Below is a photo of my '86 solenoid. At top of photo you can see the female end of two-wire connection (male end unplugged). Wire in the photo runs to EGR, the hole to the left runs up to the throttle body/plenum.

From what you wrote, it sounds like you've got the connections covered.

Of interest, if you need to replace the small foam filter at the back of the solenoid, try using a piece of foam from a kitchen bottle brush...worked like a champ and my wife didn't notice the difference at the sink! Good luck.

I took it to a mechanic 3 weeks ago to have the valves adjusted and he messed with the timing said it was about 90* off . The distributor points towards the windshield, but it ran great, until a week ago when a fuel line started leaking, turns out it was a bad O-ring. Replaced it and no more leak, runs fine. The very next day it starts up and dies. I tried adjusting the timing some more but It wont turn any farther. I used a timing light and it says its at about 6*-10* BTDC. When I start it and feather the gas for a few min, it will start running good at idle, but if I try to drive it it will jerk and sputter and stall out. I can smell gas now coming from the exhaust so I would assume a sensor is messed up or something, possibly even a bad ECM.
