lt1 help
i have been helping my brother install a new cranck in his lt1. the one thing i didn't help was the crank install. we got the motor and trans back in the car today. the problem is he didn't install the piolet bushing in the end of the crank. my question is will this hurt anything? hate to have to tear the trans back out if no really need to. so what you guys think?

You'll waste the input shaft bearing in short order. It's not designed for the unusual side loads it'll encounter with the front of the shaft having such excessive movement out of it's normal rotational axis.
