Since buying a 2006 ZO6, the ZO7 6 speed has been left alone. Now I'm wondering what to do with it. Thought of some power improvements, now that I've gotten acquainted with 500+ HP. FI, a LS2 conversion or....? What do you guys think I should do?
Well what do you like to do? I would consider keeping it stock or lightly modded and competing with it. Anything with track time would keep me happy. Road racing or drag. It can be fun to have a car to work on, ahh shop time.
If you plan on racing it, 1st thing to do is to read the rulebook. Then decide what class you want to run in.
For track or autocross, best to spend $$$ on seat time.
Couldn't agree more! Driving time is fun, and makes your times better. Having a goal of what class you want to be in ahead of time, is much simpler. Plan ahead!
make someone day .....
Give or Sell to someone who can't afford one who would turely
care and appreciate A vette.
just an idea!
Thats a nice idea. "Give" to someone who cant afford it. But its your car so nobody can decide for you but it would look pretty good for your "afterlife" score.

If you're going for power consider:
A) NO2 very inexpensive bang for the buck improvement. Real easy to blow up your motor.
b) Invest $$ in a built 383 from someone like Golen engine services in NH. $6 - $8 grand for the long block. You already have the Dana 44 right?
OR
Do nothing and:
1) Drive the C6 on days that you want to drive a luxo cruser
2) Drive the C4 on the days that you want to drive a sports car.
Use it as a daily driver, or go auto-cross it.
Either way, better mpg, lower cost of repairs and parts (tires!), not new so won't worry as much about getting a few blimishes or dirty.

Actually, even the C6Z gets better gas mileage than an LTx c4.
