1991 stock Z07 AT
When cruising at 60 mph just under 2500 rpm, everything is ok but when going over 2500 rpm until 3500 rpm, the car begins to shake. It s sounds like due to the engine and due to the body.
when speed is stablilised it s shake less but still shake a little.
more I ask for power and more the car shakes. I have noticed that this mostly appear when the car is hot (160+)
In summer times when going over 180, this shakes really bad.
When the car is cold or under 160, this does not appears at all, even over 3500 rpm (100 mph).
When cruising at night or under rain, everything is fine.
Having the AC on or off does not change anything.
Could it be due to the delco ignition going to hot ? or the plug wires ?
I have noticed the aluminium plate over the delco as well as the plenum is very hot.
Any ideas ?

Spark plug in 2 months old. plugs 6 months old.
all FX3 shocks new. all tires and driveline equilibrated.
I was having this symptom last summer also.
I really do not understand why this happens only on hot days....
I am talking mph.
European priviledge.
