Dash Cluster Repair
(who came up the bright idea to put in on the clutch housing in 89 :mad), my tach still can't count.
So, I'm looking to have my dash cluster repaired and thought I'd canvas those of you who already did this for your opinions. Where did you send it, how much did it cost, were you happy with the results, how long did it take, yada, yada, yada.
thanks for the comments

Tom;
We are seeing more clusters that require new LCD because of age/sun fading.
These units are costly to repair due to the ever increasing price of the
LCD's. As a general rule, most units can be repaired for under $200.00
plus around $100 extra for every LCD that needs replacing. Please feel
free to send in your cluster for a free estimate. It there is any
question, please call me directly. Most units are turned around within 24
hours, totally remanufactured with all new bulbs and any required
modifications, and all work is warranted for one year. Sorry, we do not
sell parts.
Simply package carefully, attaching a note with your instructions, name,
address and daytime phone where we could leave a message about an estimate
or credit card info, e.g.

They seem to be the best option so far. Under $200 plus $100 for the speedo LCD and I'm fixed for under $300 with a 1 year warranty and a brand new set of bulbs. I think I'm going this route.
