Rip it out... you already pulled your cat anyways, right?

The smog pump is kind of rendered useless then.

Of course, it already is kinda useless as it is.

I can't speak to headers...

But for the smog pump... just pull the pump and put the delete bracket in there. Many places sell one.

Or since the pump is free turning, you can just leave that on. But you can remove the plumbing for it and also remove the solenoid and diverter.

Once that's out you're done. Just tie up the plugs. You won't throw any codes.

If you don't get headers, you can either cap off the tube or cut off the tube and have someone weld it.

If you have smog visual inspections you need headers with air tubes to keep your smog pump functional. If you live in CA, you can't do the headers at all.

If none of the above, get ones with no air tubes. But not all of these come with bungholes for the oxygen sensor, which you will need.

The o2 sensors behind the cats, if any, are probably only there to throw codes for dead cats or to control the emissions systems.

The ones in front of the cats are used to control your mixture.

You can use the same upstream ones as you have now, if anything they'll take a little longer to warm up and reach closed loop.

No, you either put them in the collector, or in the Y pipe after that if you don't want to eff up a ceramic coating.

Hooker puts it in the #7 primary which is a pretty crappy idea IMO, tuning the whole car based on the richest cylinder.
