Is it the 2800 listed in your sig? That should be very nice. I have a 3000 and love it. I think that folks should always try a converter upgrade before going nuts with gears if they at least have the 3.07s already. I'm talking for cars used mainly for street of course. I'd hate to give up the good highway economy that I've been able to retain with a fairly radical LT1 engine.

I had 3:54's installed a while back, I would have done the torque converter first, but my car came with 2:59's. I probably would prefer something closer to the 3:07 to improve the highway driving, but I'm pretty happy with what I now have.
