Default 383 stroker final decision :)

Well it looks like I have no choice in the matter anymore. My 85 is hurt. Was out on the track and after the final run I came in. Never heard anything till I refired her and she was a knocking. It is pretty much it for my 43,000 mile engine. No easy quick fix here. I usually baby her in the streets but on the track I have no mercy. I run here like she was meant to be run. I'm pulling the engine out soon. I did alot of searches and I pretty much know what I want. But I do have a couple of questions that I couldn't find. I have not yet decided if I'm going to get a Super Ram or stay with the stock intake and port match it all. What size injectors are people running with a SR or ported intake on a 383 stroker? I'll be running a Lingenfelter 219/219 cam if that helps. Any help appreciated. Any member's website that you can recommend that has good info like vader86, please do. By the way Vader thanks. Thx..

With 85s you can use the stock injectors they will flow 27.5 psi with 87 regulator at 47pounds pressure. That's what mine flowed after I had them cleaned and pressure checked at 47 psi. Stock flow is 25 at stock pressure. They are also one of the better factory injectors. As for cam I would look at Comp Cams new XFI Cam.
