Pegasus is a great resource, but for WeatherPack connectors
I'd encourage people to look for a local commercial electronics
supply house.
If you are the kind of person that Home Depot has to escort to
the door at closing time in order for the staff to be able to
go home then you'll love browsing electronics places.
When you realize that you really needed a 3-pin shell, it will be
only a matter of a drive to obtain it. Plus, you will be able
to see all the many other connector options and pick up shrink
tubing as well.
I understand that such places won't exist everywhere. I just feel
they are worth hunting out where possible.

This particular type of weatherproof connector is the easiest type to find. Also better parts stores should have them. It's some of the other more specialized types that are also used by GM that can be a bit more of a challenge such as Metripak, etc. Still, if you can get a part number, which I realize can be difficult, they're all generally obtainable fairly easily. Those who've been through this and have sources could convene here and we could sort it all out and then add this info to Bogus' database in the stickies. Connector problems have or will be a problem for any owner of a modern car such as our Vettes at one time or another. I've got some sources myself which I can dig up and post back on here later this weekend.
For instance, the replacement block coolant sensor (pass. side on '96) doesn't accept the original connector. These particular GM style connectors are tough to find other than the dealer.
