Help Diagnos - P0118. 1996 LT4
Hi all,
I pulled my codes today and found a P0118 - Engine Coolant Temp Circuit high input. Is this the code for the sensor itself, and if so, am I able to tell which sensor (front or pass side)? This code appeared after I installed my LT headers. Maybe the wire is charred by the headers somewhere? If not, where should I begin my search?
Both of my cooling fans run constently, I mean from the time I start the car (even when cold) until I shut it off. I don't know what is causing this, but it started when the code appeared.
Also, I have a warm start issue. The car will not start when warm unless I press the gas pedal. Injectors? The car only has 40k miles.
The only other thing that I can think of that may give additional info is that the rear 02 sensors are unplugged due to my high flow cats, but I did not get a code for them. Thanks for any help or ideas!
