Default Intake runner question.

Im getting this intake for my TPI and trying to decided which runners to go with. SLP, AS&M,TPiS, Accel? Anyone have any input on which are best from experiance?http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku Oh yeah and i plan to have everything port matched.

There have been a few topics on this lately with lots of info. Run a search here in tech with AS&M or SLP, you should find tons of reading.

Whatever you get, make damn sure the runner ports match up with that intake, they're larger than stock 1.47"

Im going to have everything port matched anyways..so does it matter which ones i get?

Dude, thats the Super Ram base, so why not just get the rest of the intake?

Poor man's SuperRam. I like it.

I would have ground the welds smooth before polishing it though.

I spent many hours porting and removing the dividers on a set of SLP runners. If these had come up for sale last fall, I would have snapped them up in a second.

I went from a best of 12.3 @ 115 mph with AS&M runners (not the Siamese version) to 12.12 @ 119 mph with these modified SLP's.
Had to add a lot of fuel to the top end (in the chip).

Old school Paxton supercharger on a pretty stock ZZ4 crate engine, headers, duals, etc....
