But the Cobalt SS\SC is a pretty fast car for it class.

The only other cars in it class that can beat it are the SRT4 "just barley"
And the WRX turbo.

And for this car to be able to keep up with a V8 I think it deserves some credit.
And because you bought 1 NT

Not that at all.
Its the only performance car I liked other than the corvette chevy offers.

Mr Nice maybe you should take one for a test drive and see what kind of power these cars really have and you would think different about it.

Till then you are talking **** No Offense

Which class is that? The sub-compact commute to the fabric store class?

Running a 14.4 in that COBALT would be a bitch. According to you the stage two would easily put the Cobalt into the 13's

But if you put the stage 2 that GMPP offers it will bring that car easly in the 13s and push boost up to 15 lbs instead of 12.5 lbs.

Go to the track you'll see C6's and C5 Z06's in the 13's easy. Running the numbers the car is capable of is not as easy as most people think. I have a friend with a C6 Z who according to him with slicks it's a 10 second car. It might be but with him driving it runs mid 12's

Here a Time slip with a Cobalt with Stage 2
13s are hard
Check it out and see for your self

No not the Super Charged version
Only 5 speed

The SS\Na comes in Auto which to me putting the SS badge on the N\A is a joke

Chevy ruined the meaning of the SS badge after throwing it on Non performance models.

i HAVE gone to the dealer and drove one and let me tell you its NOT putting out tons of power, it feels like an angry cavalier. and not only that but its a 3rd gear 0-60mph, whats up with that? grow up and drive a mans toy. and by the way, you are on the vette forum. run your mouth about your cobalt on the cobalt forum, you will get more support from the other domestic ricers

with the 3rd gear
1st and 2nd are useless .
3rd gear is very wide

If you read my post when this thread started I said I would drive my Corvette anyday..Over the Balt SS.
But to rag on the Cobalt is unfair..It is a Chevy and not a "japan" car.
And Chevy needed to get a market in the class of the Tuner cars .

My Corvette is a Cruise car not a DD.

A post on dragtimes.com is PROOF it's easy to get a Cobalt into the 13's O.K. you got me somebody posted their stage two cobalt 3.0 whatever the **** that is ran a high 13 so it must be true. I' am not saying you can't make one quick what I am saying is you have no idea what your car runs you are just talking **** just like my buddy with the C6 Z. You posted with the stage 2 it was an easy 13 second car and it's not. The link you provided which proves nothing
the thing barely broke 13's and it's a stage 2 3.0 with other mods.

If he had a 2.8 pulley on that car it would run mid to low 13s easy
3.0 pulley is not a full stage 2 kit
This is the real stage2 kit
