I have a ’90 L98 w/ 94k. Just had new dual exhaust installed (no cats) because the old cats were rattling. When I got the car back, it was not running very well, so I tuned it up, new coil, module, wires, cap rotor, plugs and fuel filter. Timing is set # 6 degrees before TDC. The car will set a code 32, ERG Failure, which I believe is caused by a lack of back pressure, per the FSM.
The car still has a miss, especially when warm.
The strange part is that the drivers side of the engine (which is were the problem is) is running about 30 degrees colder that the passenger side. Why would that be? My mechanic friend does not think I have a bad cylinder, or head gasket. He is going to do a compression test on Wednesday.
I do not believe it is a fuel injector issue, as the car does not lose fuel pressure.
Try disconnecting the vacuum hose to the EGR valve and plugging the hose. Also, make sure the EGR valve is fully closed and not leaking exhaust gases into the intake manifold during idle. Does it idle better in this test? It would also be a good idea to check your FSM to see what can cause the code to set.

RACE ON!!!
Did as you suggested, no change. Car starts and idles fine, runs good when cold, just breaks up about 3000 rpm when warm. The warmer it gets, the worse it runs. Changed the coil, old for new, again ran fine when cold, ran worse when warmed up.
