What year... they don't make shortie for some years, LT are a better performance gain, since shorties are actually no gain..

Uh, what year(s) of C4s do they not make shorties for?
The shorties will gain you a little but the longtubes will gain you substantially more. At the very best, and this can vary due to many factors, shorties are good for maybe half the HP gain of longtubes.

If you can afford it, go long tubes with high flow cats. I went from stock to Hooker shorties and Corsa catback. I could feel the difference. Then went to TPIS long tubes, RT high flow cats and Flowmaster catback . Bigger difference. Better sound.

The shorties are easier to install and are smog legal. The longtubes may or may not be smog legal where you live. The shorties will give you a cleaner look under the hood and that's about it. The longtubes will give you a decent rwhp increase where you MIGHT get 5-7 rwhp with the shorties MAYBE.
