Once again I come to the CF for your insight and help. I have a 1990 Coupe (L98), my top now rattles when the top is on the car. I've identified the problem. The 2 T-30 bolts that attached the main bolt (the one you unloosen to remove the top) to the top have lossened up. I took the top off the car and attempted to retorque these two bolts down (with very limited success). The two torx bolts are behind the 2 sided tape attached rubber bumbers.
How do you tighten them? Sounds simple but the force used to retorque the 9o'clock position bolt causes the 3 o'clock bolt to loosen, no amount of pressure that I've infliced would make that little booger stay put.
Can anyone assist me in resolution of this tinker topic?
