Do you know anyone who can scan your engine for you? Unless this is done, you may be buying new parts to replace good parts. I had an acceleration problem on my 89 and it turned out to be the O2 sensor and there were not any codes stored in the ECM. The O2 sensor was frozen on a certain mv value and was not jumping up/down as it was supposed to do. A scan tool quickly found this problem. Another suggestion would be to use some Chevron Techtron fuel injector cleaner and see if you have clogged injectors.
I do have a scanner but I cant keep it idling long enough to get a good read.

Heres an update, today I replaced the fuel filter because whether or not its the problem it most likely should be replaced anyway. However it did not help my problem. I didnt see any kinks or defects in the fuel lines at all and of course no leaks. I checked for codes again, still nothing.
As far as being out of gas, I can hold down the gas pedal and it will continue to run although not very smooth like it should. When I let off it will stall out in a few seconds. I'm sure my gauge isnt 100% accurate but I know I have gas.
The cat isnt clogged up, I just replaced it last year. And yes it happens hot, cold, whenever I just start the car. Well I cant really think of anything else to check, so any ideas?
Did you replace sock on fuel pump? Some times they come apart and cause a restriction.

How did you set the timing right if car won't say running??

Yes I did put a new sock on the pump. As far as the timing goes, I turned the distributor (with the bypass line disconnected) until I found a spot where it ran the best. Had to keep hitting the gas every now and then to get it right. So no its probably not 100% dead on, but it shouldnt be acting the way it is.
I've noticed that when I give it more gas, say up to 2000rpm it sounds pretty rough, I'm starting to wonder if its a spark problem?
