paint code on 84
Trying to find my paint code for body shop supply. The FSM says its on the right front hinge plate. I checked right door hinge, right hood hinge and I do not see any label like the diagram in the FSM shows. What hinge plate are these guys talking about????

Look under the storage compartment lid behind the drivers seat for the option codes.

Try this site: http://www.corvettepaintcodes.com/ Just scroll down to the 1984 model. There are codes for a number of paint brands, but the number your body show will want is the "WA" code (column on the far right).

My '84 has a plate riveted to the outside (curbside) of the right hood latch assembly, at the cowl. It looks just like the sample plate shown on page 0A-1 where is says the plate is on the "right front hinge plate".
