What were the stock rearend gears that were put in the six speed cars (preferably 1992)? What should I upgrade too? 3.73's? Good seat of the pants feel (I'm sure it is)?
92 6 speed came with 3.45, no experience with this application, but most everyone on here seems to perfer the 4.10 with the 6 speed. Also the best fit is the dodge viper set from chrysler. (so i hear)
go with the 4.10's, we did both in steps on dads car and the 3.75's were almost non noticeable, the 4.10's were like putting a 100 shot on it! she will rip in 1st and 2nd! if your getting gears, get them from Al Kindler, email address is usazr1@aol.com, cost is 300.00 shipped, very hard to beat, they are the 4.10's and are the bigger and stronger ring and pinion for our cars! best of luck,
LT1 Auto, 3.73's, L98 Auto, 3.08, this is about the best setup for these cars anyhting more without significant work to the heads and addition of a higher rpm power making cam and you'll find you might actually hinder your trap speeds and et's!
