you may want to firm up the shifts also change shift points, kick the fans in earlier, bump up the rev limit etc

I used the Hypertech Power Programmer III on mine to firm up the shifts and run premium gas. I was surprised how much it firmed the shifts!

Thx for the replies how much firmer?
Is there scale of 1- 10 or something?

How much can I increase the rev. limiter and still be safe?

My shifts now feel like shifting a manual without the clutch, really hard. I've had shift kits installed that didn't shift as hard. If your engine is stock, I don't see any benefit in raising your rev limiter. You wiil be out of the optimum hp and torque range and putting unecessary strain on your valve train. I left the shift points stock as well for the same reason.
