Mcleod clutch adjustments.
I think I have a problem.
I´ve installed my new pullstyle street twin clutch from Mcleod.
Installed the master cylinder, and my new OEM slave cylinder.
But I need to press in the slave pretty hard in bellhouse, feels like it´s on alittle bit to hard. I don´t have any install papers.
When I press the clutch I only need to depress it halfways to get in gears easy. And it feels like it hook up very high on pedal.
On Mcleod it says:
"On cable and hydraulic applications, the throwout bearing face should rest lightly on the pressure plate fingers."
But then also:
"With the clutch pedal completely depressed, a diaphragm should have .030-.040 air gap between the disc and the flywheel."
Can I really have both?
But that´s not for just the Street twin. That´s on the FAQ.
Thanks Andreas
