Default Do i need tuning???

I have just got my vette about 2 months ago and I don't drive it all the time about 2 times a week. when I got it the opti was shot so I replaced it and it runs like a champ now. the only thing that I notice is that in the lower rpm's it seems to me like it misses but very very slightly, it is very hard to notice but when I get above 3000 it seems not to do it. I have replaced all the plugs also when I got so I don't know if I am just thinking that it is missing or is there some tuning I need to do or could this be a injector issue?

that is the next question I have. when I took my 94 camaro to the shop he said there were updates for it, now I know I have the prom chip in this year but I was wondering if I could replace it with a flash like my camaro has and if so who sells them and are they easy to swap out?

Check your plug wires and the wire from the opti to the coil for arcing. That can cause this problem. If all are good look at the coil and ICM. I just replace mine and almost 100% fixed the problem. I think I have an idle issue that is messing with the low end. I had a hi rpm miss and now that is gone too. You get heatsoak. I don't know enough about the chips but some one should answer that.

Default new wires

yes i was looking in to getting new wires and coil for it. I think that will be a improvement for it anyway. I really hope i can replace the old eprom with a new ecm for updates and tuning proposes since i have never done the programing on the eprom before the flash is much easier since you don't need to remove it and erase it and then burn it.

Most seem to think unless you modify something your stock tune is about as good as your going to get.
