I took my car to the alignment shop this morning for a new autocross alignment, however they could only get -.2 camber in front. I wanted -1.5. Anyone know what I need to get it to -1.5? The shop said something about a new A-arm, but I am not sure if that is accurate or where to get it if it is accurate.
The good news is they got the rea to what I wanted with -1 camber and 1/8" toe in.
To all you autocorss guys, what can I expect (push/oversteer) with the setup that I could get?
You can get offset lower control arm bushings that will allow for more negative camber. Vette Brakes has them for about $100 (part # 32108). What was the caster setting you came up with?
I was in the same boat as you. I bought the lower offset control arm bushings as mentioned above from Vette Brakes and Products and that did the trick. I have now set mine as -2 deg.

The car is an 87 coupe.
I have an 88 and the car is very neutral with similar vbandp camber settings. I got -1.5 in the front with removal of the shims in the base of the upper control arms. I run 2 lbs less pressure in the rear and I believe that helps remove some of the oversteer that the car had before the camber was added. The rear toe in with added camber helped anchor the back because the car was uncontrollable with oversteer until the alignment was done correctly.
That doesn't sound right. The least that I have heard is -1 camber on the front. Were they trying to keep the caster in the recommended range while limiting the camber???? If so tell them to get the the max neg. camber first then take whatever the caster ends up at . (match each side) I'm at -1.6 camber w/ +8 caster. My car is slammed so that helps a little. Otherwise machine the spacers or spend the money and do it right w/ the offset bushings.
