Default hard start/rough idle

22+ year Corvette owner and daily driver, but new to forums. I'll go to newbie page to meet and greet later, right now need to get my car back on the road. Any ideas as to what would cause fuel pressure at the rail to not hold one second, and then two minute later stay up? New fuel pump, O2 sensors, no codes, fuses good, car will start but idles rough, and strong smell (unspent fuel?) coming from exhaust, it would seem something in the fuel delivery/injectors is out of whack. If fuel pressure was normal, I'd suspect optispark, but with pressure holding, then not holding, then holding again, I'm not sure. Car was running perfect last week, then died and has not been right since. Using FSM for most of this diagnosis. It's a 94 6 spd lt1 68K miles. Thanks for any input.

Leaky injector, one or more. Could be a fuel pump gone south. Run the tests in the service manual for the above and get back to us.

Thanks, it's a new fuel pump, I might better check my installation as it was getting late the other night, also is there an easy way to check injectors, I have the book, but not all the tools. What I don't understand is how it happened so suddenly, once minute running fine the next it's dead.
