Solid rear track results....
First run off the trailer the car went PERFECTLY straight as an arrow on the launch...pulling the front about 6-8" off and went a 1.41 60' time and a 10.44 sec ET with a lower than normal shift point (purposely set to make sure I hit everything and got a feel for the car again).
I know I was support to take it easy the first run, but said:"We have to be confident in the job we did" And I was, so I gave it hell...being well aware to get out of it if anything did not feel right. But the thing felt ROCK solid and had absolutely no ill signs of anything....I was VERY PLEASED.
Only got to run it two other times and tried some other RPM leaving spots and the car ran a 1.4 60' time with an end ET of 10.40 both other runs so its dead consistent.
Now here are a few things to keep in mind, which even makes me more excited. I was running with my full exhaust which I know is a good solid .2sec reduction in my ET with all the bends in it and weight, that puts me at 10.2sec - and I have to run an absolute FULL tank of fuel in the car in order to keep it from sucking air on the launches - so there is another full .1sec or more in unneccessary weight I plan to remove when I install the fuel cell........which in not all that great of weather puts the car at or better than my previous best in good weather. 10.1secs......
And I have not even BEGUN fine tuning the suspension, which I think a low 1.3 or high 1.2 sec 60' times are not at all unobtainable.
I will keep you all posted....

So much for taking it easy, eh?
Good to hear you are back out there with no problems. Definitely keep us posted on the 60' time progress.
Might be heading there saturday or sunday - both days are race days.....Dads new AFCO front shocks just came today...so his BEAST will be track ready as well...I might be able to get my exhaust off by then too and redo it - which will definately yield a nice increase........
Now just need to find the time....
byebye....yeah I know but like I said in the other posts I drove the car on the street for about 2 weeks and it felt solid as a rock and had no ill manners, so I was pretty confident she would sail with no problem....so I gave it hell. :o

I have a 5 gal fuel cell in mine now, alot less weight and no chance of fuel starvation.
I want a tank that is about 15 gallons since I still drive mine around a lot on the street. Going to have to start measuring and shopping.

Guys at work just invited me to the Beaver Falls cruise on Sat
Glad to see you have it back on the track and really rocking. I am sure your ET and 60 foot will come WAY down once you get the weight out and get the launch figured out...I have a feeling we will all be able to see your oil pan hanging in the air when you start launching it hard. Fun times ahead!!
