how do I reset error codes. i have one that says Anti-lock. The car runs fine and trhe brakes are fine. i had them worked on a year ago as they had air in them. Love the car and I have been driving it for a year with the anti-lock light on. How do I gget it to go off. Do i just disconnect the battery and re connect it. What can i do to reset this code. 1988 Blue corvette convertible with L98 and 4+3 trans.
The other problem is the radio has engine noise on it. where do i buy a resister or whatever it is you put on the engine to stop it from coming into the radio. When i get it where do i install it to stop the noise.

Do a search on my posts, as I have posted extensive tests for use by 86-89 Vette ABS owners. You will need a 10MegOhm voltmeter and some WD-40.

The 86-88 Vette does not set anti-lock error codes like the later C4s. If the ABS system finds fault in the system, it turns on the ABS anti-lock trouble light and turns off the ABS system entirely until the car is shut-down and restarted.

Often the radio noise is due to the ground strap being corroded or loose. Look in the driver side wheel well for the bottom of the antenna motor. You should see braided ground strap coming off of the motor body and grounding at the frame behind the driver side rear shock. Loosen the bolt, clean the area with WD-40 and/or fine sandpaper. Re-attach the bolt and ground strap. Put more WD-40 or some black paint on the bolt. Often that solves the problem. If not, it may be the capacitors in the individual Bose speaker amps are leaking. In that case do a search in CF and the web for Bose Amp Repair or Bose Speaker Repair.

I am Real new to this, How do I go find the post you talk about below. If i get another error code like the check engine light, i might wish to know how to reset it also. My anti-lock light has been on for over a month and the car runs and drives great. I had a problem with my brakes leaking down and I had them checked and fixed
