I am rebuilding an 85 and would like to do something with the dash. I was going to install a 5" speedo and tach and then maybe some 2 5/8" info gauges in the center section. I would end up removing the info center and switches? Has anyone done this and if so, show me some pics> Thanks
I agree analog looks better, but the ease of swaping this unit out with no work made it look much better to me in my mind . Comes pre-wired... even I could install it

I just wish somebody made some cool little satin black tabs to go in each corner where a screw goes to cover the cracks on the factory plastic.
I'm doing an LS2 in my 85 Vette and trying like heck to keep the stock gauges alive. I know I'll lose the fuel calculator - but I dig the digital corvettes.
yup. mid-late 80`s Firebird. the Formula/TA/GTA models had 140 mph speedos.
Right you are, mid 80's firebird gauges, the vss module makes all gauges work correctly, the major part is the fab of the housing and alignment of the gauges with calibration. I used an old dash piece and fab the gauge insert so that i just remove the digi and dash piece and install and plug the analog gauges in...
