Another starting problem
However this past weekend he took the starter solenoid wire off as part of his troubleshooting and found that there was +12V there when the key was OFF.
Anyone run into this problem before? He has replaced the ignition switch...(which doesn't mean that its good), but how in the world could there be +12V there unless the wiring has shorted (which I really doubt). He did find the clutch start safety switch was not making contact all the time...which is what I told him to check.
