I’d hate to waste money, effort & track time to find out I’m still off the
mark. Can’t wait to compare it to the FSS and see how much flatter it
is. Stay tuned…….
JDANNER, how did the FHA spring turn out?

Let me start by saying Kudos to those whom have made these spring charts, Hib et al.

I do have one question, something that doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Below is the listings, converted to lb/ft from N/mm, for the 1996 C4....

Front Rear
CPE(Y07)
FE1 342.6 148.46(RHZ)
FE1/Z16 342.6 148.46(RHZ)
F45 342.6 148.46(RHZ)
F45/Z16 342.6 148.46(RHZ)
Z51 417.972 188.43(RHY)
Z51/Z16 417.972 188.43(RHY)

CNV(Y67)
FE1 417.972 227.829(RCA)
F45 417.972 227.829(RCA)

Now, I can kind of understand why a stiffer spring rate would be used on the rear of the convertible vs. the Y07 FE1 because of the additional bracing and weight for the softop frame... But for the convertibles to have a spring rate equal in the front & stiffer than the Z51 overall seems a bit strange.....

FYI: The part numbers for the Y07 Z-51 front spring is 17999032, and the part number for the Y67 FE1 spring is 17999031.
