Default New Air Intake Duct?

A few years and an owner back, my '85 had a different air intake duct, shown below:

Anyone know where I can find something like that again? I've browsed around on here, and google casually the past few days, but have come up empty. Just managed to find a few different stock looking ones.

Thanks!

Me neither, and unfortunately it's not on anymore, nor did it come with my car.

The previous owner was my uncle who passed, so there's no hope of contacting him about it, unfortunately. That would have been the first place I checked!

It's nice and I'm sure many would love to have something similar. Any chance that it was a custom piece? Do you know what material(s) it was made from?

I don't, I wish I did. It wasn't on there when I got the car. All I know was he had it on the car as recent as November 2003. He passed in Feb 2004, so somewhere in there he removed it. I really wish I had it still, because it's beautiful.

Looks like a smooth hose with blue tape and a few stickers. I'm thinking custom made.

Hmmmm.....now that I actually look at it, I think you're right. It wouldn't surprise me, knowing him. I always figured it was a hard plastic duct, but that makes more sense.

What about the brighter blue brackets, what do you think those are?

Maybe it's a silicone piece? I am looking for something similar. There's Samco hoses and Turbohoses.com that I still need to try.

Wow I thought this was going to be another power coupler thread, but no, that tube is pretty sweet.

The brighter blue straps look like nylon. I have seen nylon bands just like that anyways, with a band type of clasp to secure it.

I had blue hose just like that on my old turbo car. The seams are in the tube not in the shiney part that looks like tape, that might be clear shrink wrap.
