Default Evaporator Core Pressure Sensor Orientation Issue...

Has anyone had a problem getting the correct Evap Core to work in our cars? I'm on my 3rd order here, and can't seem to find the right one. Got #1 off ebay, and the pressure sensor was oriented down at about a 45 degree angle towards the passenger side of the car. The part will physically fit and has the same dimensions, but won't work because the evap case physically interferes with the pressure switch installation due to its orientation. I gave rock auto a shot, ordered a four seasons evap from them because the picture appears to be correct, and they sent me the wrong part number. Made a return, got the correct part from four seasons and it doesnt match the picture; it has the same orientation as the ebay one I got which wont fit.

The picture here matches exactly what I NEED:

Here is one that shows the improper orientation, which is what most models seem to have as the stock picture:

This is the switch that goes on the sensor, which causes problems when the pressure valve is not oriented the proper way:

Anyone had this problem before? If the switch was mounted at 90* like in the picture, or even completely opposite of its current location, it would work as well. I need to know of a decent part I can buy that will be correct, without paying out the nose and waiting 2 weeks to get an AC Delco one. Anybody got one they know has the correct orientation?

Scorp508 did a thread on this last year. Seems like he managed to use it, but I am not sure. Try a search on Scorp, and you will probably find the answer.

Thanks. I found that thread, and his evap was oriented the opposite direction as mine, toward the engine. I am going to try to modify the case slightly to get mine to fit.
