Default Knock sensor??????

87 knock sensor Passenger side on the head or the block???? do you guy's have pic???? I can not find mine????? Thanks again for all your help.

IIRC, it should be down in the drain hole just above the pan gasket. I don't recall which side.

On my '88 it is on the passenger side of the block, there is a metal heat shield covering part of it similiar to the one by the fuel filter. You can follow the wire from the ESC module down to the sensor to.

87 knock sensor pass side on the block just above the oil pan. Sensor is round with one wire connected to it. Look for the metal shield covering it.
