Need help please. Does anyone know.......?
C-5 wheels will directly fit (no spacers/adapters required) on the 88 - 96 c-4 Vettes. On the 84 -87 it looks like a one inch spacer is required for these wheels. The question is why is there a difference? Is it as simple as changing spindles, or is there a lot more to it? I would like to avoid a spacer if possible.

Trace, if you already have the C5 wheels and tires test fit them and see if they clear and how the car handles without spacers. Probably has something to do with the backspacing on them. I know GM changed the suspension on the 88 up Vettes. AKSRacing told me this week end he had an 88 suspension on his 87 Vette, so he might know.
