Default Electric Water Pump (WP118HD)

I want to install an electric water pump when I change out my Optispark. I like the Meiziere heavy duty pump but in my case, it doesn't look like it will fit. The A/C is in the way.

Has anyone with a 1994 LT1 installed an electric water pump on their car? On first look, it doesn't look like it will fit...

Fits perfect on my 94. Stock A/C causes no interference. The MAF is close, sitting right above the wp, but is not a problem. I twisted mine 90 degrees to give better clearance and cooling.

What did you do with the sensor on the air intake (Is this the MAF you mention?) ? Was it out of the way too? Looks like it might also be a problem.

Where did you pull power? You got pictures?

I haven't done a 1994 but I've been involve with EWP installs on 93 and 95 and it will fit. I'm searching for the turorial with the common hook up now. Hopefully someone will beat me to it. One of the common wiring plans is using the cooling fan power as the switched source to activate the ewp relay.

On my 95 you can't see the EWP without looking HARD

Mike

Here's the F-body link I used as motivation for my install

Yes, this same link got me going too. Looks like your 95 has the same engine compartment configuration with the A/C as my 94 has. The sensor on the intake and the A/C look like they are not a problem, correct? Seems pretty tight though. Did you do the install yourself?
Where did you get your gaskets and relay?
