I've been told that a stock 93 LT1 6 speed will have a great deal of difficulty cracking into the 13's in the 1/4 mile by a few people. Others have told me that with a good driver behind the wheel that mid 13's are not out of the question, perhaps even a 13.4 or 13.5 on a stock car. What is the real story? I used to race my non stock '69 small block and ran low 13's without much of a hole shot. The LT1 I drive now seems just as powerful but it has been 17 years since I drove that 60 butt kicker and we all know how time can dull the senses. Have any of you taraced your LT1 and if so, what kind of time did you run? Thanks for the info in adavnce.

Back when...well...WAY back when my car was stock...a 92 6-speed LT1, I was able to run multiple 13.6's from 102-103 driving it really hard!

The 93 LT1 is a mid to high 13 sec car stock. My 93 auto stock ran 13.8 consistantly. A manual should net you better times then the auto on a stock car. Most guys on here that ive seen run in the 13s . There might be a couple straglers in the low 14s.
