Which tire for a smooth ride

Which tire for a smooth ride
What tires are best for a smooth ride? I have two sets of wheels with
pilot sports on one set for performance. What is good for cruising? thanks for any help

Just removed all four Goodyear Eagle F-1, looked great, good treadware, horrible ride. Replaced them with Goodrich G-Force KDWS, so far the ride is great, good in high speed cornering, also they used a road force balancing which places the weight of the car on the wheels whil balancing for a better ride.
Disclaimer I have always (17+years) ran Goodyear tires, just wanted something different this time and several forum members had Goodrich tires on their cars and apparently were happy. I need to give the Goodrich tires time to continue to impress me or send me back to Goodyear only time will tell.

smooth ride, go for an all season tire, or a touring tire.
forget about the 'summer only' tires.
I'm pretty much done with summer only preformance tires.
got tired of the harsh ride,
hard rubber in the cold months, etc.
