I used to leave it on performance but it had a tendancy to hop if I was cornering fast and hit a bump (on ramps and exit ramps were the worst). Now I leave it on touring and adjust it to road conditions and driving style called for.
i recently did away with mine as the shocks were worn out and no longer available(96 f45).i usually left it in sport.i would switch to touring on the interstate or at the dragstrip(better weight transfer).i rarely used performance unless i was challenging my skill at curves.
sport was where it mainly stayed.
