Default Valve Stem O-Rings on LT!??

If you've seen my posts the last couple of days, you know I'm changing out my rockers, springs, lifters. I picked up new valve guide seals and O-Rings to install. But I pulled the springs off the #2 cylinder and there are not any O-Rings on either valve stem. Is this normal? Does an LT1 not use them? I notice that one of the valve stems (didn't check if it was intake or exhaust) doesn't even have the grove to allow an O-Ring to be installed.

There are no o-rings, just one piece seals that you press on.

Thanks for the reply. My Haynes manual shows the O-Rings, but of course the Haynes cover all C4 years in one book. I got the one piece seals ready to go.
