Default x pipe question

i have shorty headers stock cats and what i beleive is a borla cat back and it is a bit louder than i would like it to be.. and i am in the process of building a stroker and am sure with the bigger cam and more cubes and more compression its going to be a hair louder.. i have been tossing around the idea of an x pipe for a while but saw this muffler and was wondering if anyone has tried it or any opinions on it or if i would be just as well off with a plain jane x pipe.. here are pics of my choices..
in summit for $125

in summit for $85

Assuming that is the Magnaflow Tru-X muffler or something similar, I have one and like it. It added the expected benefits of an X-pipe and quieted down my system to the desired level as well.

I also recently put that Magnaflow True-X in (the bottom picture), and also recomend it. Where I had resonance at around 1800-2000 rpm, it turned into a low growl instead. Downside is the whole exhaust has to be reconfigured with a larger center distance. I did a lot of cutting and TIG/MIG welding to get it back together with the right dimensions, but it was worthwhile IMO.

Here's one that works well on C4s. Link
At 4" center to center, it's right on target with the stock LTx and their aftermarket systems. Stock is about 3 3/4" and everything else I've seen is either that or no more than 4". Ignore their company website price. With the part number in hand, shopping around can get it for less than half of that. Think eBay. Honestly, that's where I got mine for about $100 shipped, brand new.

It's good to know they're making them too. Post a part number for it if you have one, as well as the dimensions. I'm sure many here would be interested.
