Default Porting intake to match head work ???

Installing the LT4 hot Cam kit, heads will be ported all-so. I talked to the guy who will be doing the porting and he told me that I should have the Intake ported as well to match the head port and move up in throttle-body size.

Is this worth it even though I CANT run long tube headers here in CA. ???

IMO I think its worth port matching the intake to the heads. But I did mine myself. You can change the TB any time. Whether you you really need to now depends on what your mods are and the expected HP.

Let him port it. I don't think the TB upgrade is necessary.
